OK, so the light finally came on and I figured it out. There is a switch hidden behind a small sliding panel with a
DISPLAY and a
S-POS switch. I turned off the Display switch and the LCD stays off until I turn on the transmitter. Doh!
Along with the SP12M chassis and body, thepackage included a small Airtronics steering servo, Novak receiver, and Novak ESC. There is also the stock Airtronics receiver plus parts, traction compound (the old stuff), battery packs and more. Brings back memories of Cleveland Nationals in 2002 when we got out butts whooped.....LOL
