Hope you get your stuff in a timely manor Walt!

I got both my remaining orders n today, finally! I got the PN V4 94/98mm Pod for Kyo motors, and I have to say I'm a bit disappointed with the tolerances of the parts and the parts included/not included! First thing I noticed was it came with 3 #2 axel bearing holders and 1 #1. Next, was the fit of the bearing holders in the pod. They are loose, like my Nexx Racing RM Pods, not like the 3 other PN Pods I have, which makes setting the gear mesh hard! The Kyo motor also fits loosely in the Motor Plates. It has about a half mill of twist front to back, while being stable side to side. Last, was the lack of needed screws to mount the pod to the T plate. You need 2mm dia x 3mm long screws, as the provided 2X4mm screws hit the motor not allowing gear mesh adjustments. Don't get me wrong, it works and the 8500kv barely gets warm compared to the 140-150* range it had been running. But I would have just gotten another Anima Motor and used a PN V3 Pod I already have, if I would have known what I was getting with the V4. Maybe I just got a bad one, or maybe the bearing holders weren't made well??? I guess I'll just keep it, as shipping both ways is as much as the part itself.

As for the furnace, it's just damn aggravating! Just another SNAFU! I'm just going to have another whiskey, and say the heck with it! If it gets too crazy trying to get the situation fix, we have a very good family friend who is a Junk Yard Dog Lawyer! Never had to use him, and I HATE the thought of even having to go that route, but it's the only language many understand today! $$$ And I'm not going to jail for a POS like them for giving them the arse kicking they so rightly need/deserve!

I was going through the 03 to 04 Ready Set build, and the only thing that concerns me is length of the servo wires off the 03 ready set board being too short. the 04 pot wires wrap up and around the pot, where the 03 pot wires attach and run out the bottom. I know you can solder longer servo wires to the board, but those are some damn tiny contact patches very close together to try to solder to with my old eyes and shaky hands! I might try using the 03 servo gears/pot with 04 top plate, and arms, or some variation and see what it does for my times. Maybe just the 04 MM pod on the 03 chassis?? Would that still be Box Stock legal?
