Hi, I just bought a Novarossi Nova Mito 4 engine that I bought with a tekno NB 2.1 slider. The guy I bought it off of was willing to throw the engine in with a pipe for another 50 bucks so I thought I’ll give it a shot. The engine has less than or about 5 gallons on it.
My question is, is it worth getting the engine tuned up? I was going to send it to Adam Drake to give it a look over and replace the worn parts if he can to give the engine of spruce up. I may use this buggy for racing, but I just wanted a really durable basher nitro buggy for now that I could race in the future, if I wanted to.
Furthermore, I need a whole clutch assembly as it didn’t come with one. I know parts can be hard to source for this discontinued engine, so I’m not sure if they’re around.
Does anyone know where I can get a clutch assembly for this? What would you recommend?

JTB-JT10747-1 listed on the top of the page in the Amain link is a revised mount so it will work with the Protek clutch which is a great clutch and imo the best out there. As for the Novarossi you could contact Gimar on facebook as he might have some leftover Novarossi stock. You can use Nova plugs which can be obtained from Serpent America or Bones Motorsports and bearings can probably be found on eBay.
