Hugo... the esc is shutting down because it is getting too hot. there is a heat sink, but wont work as well if you are overworking the esc. also, check the gearing on your motor. if its off, it might overheat the esc. check your profile and if it is too low, lower the entire profile 3-4 stages at a time until it doesnt shut down anymore. a fan will help, but lowering the entire profile will help the most.

Ko Propo has addressed this issue by making the VFS-1 Competition edition. it has a higher temperature cut off and a trick carbon case.
