Spongebob -- not to "argue", but in 13 years of racing R/C, the Kimbrough gears are the best I've ever found... What sort of problems are you having? I've used them in 12th scale and 10th scale pan cars (64 pitch), and 48 pitch for Legends, pan cars, and of course, my TC3's. I've never had a gear that wasn't "round".
Like I said, not trying to argue, just curious as to what sort of problems you have had....
