Pretty sure it's motor. After my silliness there was a burning smell and visible smoke after which the servo stopped working. Might just disassemble it and take the opportunity to see the gearing and see if maybe there is a part number on the motor.

To my knowledge ProtekRC and AMain are one and the same. This facebook page lists all AMain contact info.

I also searched for Protek RC Service Center and other similar searches and found nothing.
