I'm certain, is not about "easier/harder to use"...it's about "universal connection". These days, almost all devices are using USB-C. Heck, even Apple is (finally) giving up on the Lightening Port...moving forward, all iPhones & iPads will have USB-C ports. Makes charging Anthony/everything 'easier' when they're all using the same cable. If that, you'd have to agree.

Would you, SERIOUSLY, trust a $1 USB cable (of any type)? Personally, I done know anyone who would. Again, the whole point is "universal connection". With the exception of one older wireless mouse, NONE of my devices use micro USB, or mini USB - everything, from my phone & tablets, to my laptop & headset charging case, user USB-C. Even the NiMH & LiPo chargers I use for my 1:28/Mini-Z cars use USB-C for AC power. With the exception of the Noble NB4 base being charged via micro USB, my other radios having charging ports all have USB-C. Even my pit lamps are powered via USB-C. Are you finally starting to understand?
