How do you guys differ your setup for the RIDE/GravityRC tires vs TC tires? Are you running same, more or less camber? Any other setup differences to accommodate for the characteristics of those tires?
I run on high grip asphalt in mostly warm conditions, we typically run 36R TC tires.
Interested to know your setup tips!
I typically only run on CRC black carpet, though my USGT and Stock Touring cars are generally setup identically other than camber, and USGT typically is 1.0-deg less than Stock Touring. I've found this provides the best tire wear on USGT without compromising grip.
In my experience, if you want to make a significant change in camber, and if your tires already have a significant amount of runs on them, a camber change of more than 0.5-deg will generally result in sub-optimal performance cause the tires will not be making the correct amount of track surface contact since they have already worn to a different camber setting that caused increased wear on the inside or outside edges of the tire. If that is your case, my suggestion would be to install new tires and try the new camber setting..
