I just picked up the SCT410.3 and looking for setup tips. We run on an asphalt parking lot with plywood jumps. Layout changes every week, some really tight, some ovals with jumps or even speed paperclip layout with jumps. My son and I run SCTE's and have won the championships the last few years (Mine SCTE with MIP conversion and his is the SCTE 3.0) they work great but I wanted to try Tekno this year (had issues with getting parts between race dates.) The tires that work the best on the surface are the Duratrax Shootouts or the Proline Badlands, I've tried Bandito Speed Treads and they are too loose. Any of the soft compound dirt tires work but wear to bald in only a few races. The Shootouts and Badlands last the entire season.
I've looked around and the setups I've found are all dirt or clay. I was thinking maybe a smooth clay hardpack setup might be close enough. But if anyone knows of a more accurate setup that would be great. I have no idea what setup was on it but they guy I bought it from ran on a red clay outdoor track so might not need much tweaking.
