I just learned about Radiomaster a week or so ago, so I don't know a lot about them, but the radio I plan on purchasing next the TX12 appears to have hit the market sometime around 2020/21 and there is already a MKII, end users wanted things that the initial release didn't have and Radiomaster listened (how refreshing). The TX12 MKII was released in 2022/23.
Radiomaster appears to be a company that releases a product and listens to end user feedback, so I'm going to assume that the MT12 is Radiomaster testing the waters in the surface world and they will release a pro/updated version as soon as they figure out what people want. The
TX16S MKII has a color touch screen and appears to be a very popular radio.
