I am pretty sure that 2wd SCT is limited to a 13.5 turn motor for racing. So, if you plan to race at all, I would be looking at a sensored 13.5, not a sensorless 3300kv, as some tracks may not allow that.

For a solid performing motor, I would look at the Hobbywing G4 13.5 motor paired with one of the Hobbywing XR10 escs. The Justock G3 for $59 is fine to start with, and the new ones have reverse polarity protection (although you need the upgraded capacitor pack if you want it to be truly protected). If you want to move up to something that will handle anything you throw at it, go with the XR10 Pro G2s (not the legacy edition, because it DOES NOT have reverse polarity protection). The G2s has tons of tuning options for racing but at $209 may be more then you want to spend right now.
