Hello, the Silver Ellipse is the go-to tire out our track (damp clay). Silver Ellipses seem to be sold out everywhere. How much of a difference is there between the Silver and Gold compounds? Would I be better of to substitute Greens or Golds?

Or you can tell me that a huge shipment of Silver Ellipses are about to be sent to all distributors in the next 12 hours and I can get all I need!

I probably only have another race day or two on the ones I have, then I am on slicks. I think our track has been good enough for slicks about 3 times in the last year. I need tires!!
