Just got mine in from Amazon for Prime Day. 255 instead of 320 like said above. I don't really like ordering from Aliexpress. I believe the all the products on the Radiolink Aliexpress store ships out of China? If so, it would take a while to get here to the US, so that's why I like Amazon.
Back to it, I got it all setup with my cars. Using the R6FG in my B74.1 and R4FGM in my Mini B. Already tested it out, and yes, the R8FG V2 receiver is way too big to fit in modern 2wd and 4wd race kits, mostly buggies, but it goes the same for short course, stadium and mini truggies. I don't really need to be running down to faster speeds as I am only club racing for fun, not to be competitive.
The R8FG receivers are ideally meant for speed run cars (dual and long antennas), and crawlers for the 8 channels.
Haven't tested it out yet, but will get more into it on Thursday for racing.
I really like the feel of it. I did adjust the throttle trigger and wheel to my liking. Also setup my themes and screen/LED on/off timers. Currently using the 8 AAAs as I need a 4mm to JST lead to charge the lipo. For the lipo, I just cut up a blue shop towel so the battery doesn't move around. I am using my own lanyard as the included one is a bit short. (I like using the radio at my waist and not up near my chest) But you don't have to use the lanyard. I didn't update the software on the radio yet, which I should probably do soon.
