i thought the price was pretty good. i think $220 is what i paid for my Wheely King many years ago. the only thing on the market i can think of comparing it to is a Lunch Box kit (both being 1/12 monster trucks). those are around $150 and have friction shocks and plastic bushings. this is full RTR with some bearings, oil shocks, and a battery. im sure they'll do a version without the battery and the price will probably come down another $20.
