it’s great to try things out and experiment.

Overall the car on asphalt needs to be softer, eg softer suspension, lighter diff oils and softer. In the case of these particular tyres.. it’s pretty much settled that the unbelted are better for asphalt.

As for MikeR, if he recommends that you race a body inside out on asphalt, I’d take his word.. he’s the genius behind Exotek racing and runs calraceway, which is the last remaining permanent asphalt track in Southern California
