Same here... I got my Purple Mugen box used in 2003 and it's still going strong. I've since replaced the wheel once and rewired it with silicone wire and 4s lipo. I have second Mugen box for my 1/8th scale and it's over 12 years old and still great. I'd say that if someone complains that they wear out the motors or the wheel really fast, they are the problem, not the box.
