You need lots of extra downforce to counteract the possibility of the car being launched off the pavement by bouncing over a pebble and getting a bubble of air under the body. The fastest class of RC race cars, 1/8-scale GT cars, run bodies shaped like doorstops to ensure they have enough downforce to stay on the ground.
Definitely agree with that. My Arma Senton has on many occasions at full speed had the air pick it up sending the car flying, thankfully this car has been extremely durable and has had nothing break from this. Like i said i think ill got for a more reasonable speed and will go for 70mph. My thinking so far is to buy a Spectrum Receiver, Spectrum 130a esc and motor.
