I dont't feel any dead zone on my Pro, none. However, I didn't think I felt a dead zone on my NB4 until I started using the Pro. All I know is that the Pro is incredibly responsive in 2channel/2way mode or 1way mode, faster than anything I've personally used but then again, I never used my Futaba in SR mode with compatible servos. Range is the same on NB4 and Pro.
I hadn't seen this post previously, but I appreciate you pointing out that you also noticed the "dead zone" in the standard Noble. It for sure exists, and anyone who actually drives it back to back with another high-end radio in a high response situation (carpet, minis) would notice, but of course the 99.9% of people who don't even attempt this will claim I must be FOS.
Anyway, just wanted to say thanks for providing feedback also.
