Had a servo go out on the straight and went in to the boards pretty hard.
I stripped the car down and checked it for flatness on a thick piece of glass and the nose section was slightly bent upward maybe a mil to mil and a half. I have it almost dead flat now, but wondering if the aluminum will just bend back out of shape if I tag a board or will it be OK?
Once aluminium bends, it's compromised. The tweak can affect the handling and may not flex symmetrically anymore. If you don't feel any odd behaviour on the track and aren't willing to shell out on a new one, keep running it, but for peace of mind it's worth ordering a spare.
