Can someone please tell me the thickness of the inserted portion of the CRC tungsten tire truer bit? Would like to install one in a cheaper tire truer I inherited (Integy Auto True Cut V2), and I am unsure if these are a standardized thickness. The truer arm appears to accept bits that are approximately 1mm in thickness. Would be nice to know before making the investment. Thanks.
I bought a used tire truer (OFNA that later became the CRC unit) and the truing bit was pretty wore out. After doing some research I bought a Bosch ceramic blade and cut it to length. You can get two bits per blade and the blade is only $7 on Amazon:Bosch T130RF1. It works fine.
