I did the drifting thing for a minute... back when I was into on-road racing I would play with my 4WD drifter in the parking lot to kill time between race heats. A 4WD drifter will be easier to drive and a gyro will make things even easier where I found no more than 15% gain was ideal. I have not driven a RWD yet, but that has become industry standard. If I were to get a drifter for myself today I would go with the D5:
