Just throwing out some ideas, maybe for the future. Anyhow, I stumbled on these two LMP bodys still in production today from the USA by Mccalister RC. These 2 bodies in particular are:

• 190mm in width
• 255mm wheelbase
• Clear the rear shock towers
• Can fit just about any touring car

It would be super cool.
Maybe the Spec Tamiya TC-01 Toyota Gazoos can be the European Lemans Prototype Category.
Maybe the Open Touring Cars can be the American Daytona Prototypes Category with Chevys Vs Fords
