So I'll admit my ignorance. What is going on in this picture? Why does Tamiya have to post all vehicles with this connector (mated to Dean's), even at the highest performance levels? Is this out of tradition, or some strange adherence to a TCS rule?
IIRC, removing/modifying a connector on an ESC or battery voids warranty. So they stick to stock cables even when they make pictures of a competition chassis, so customer cannot say that they got the idea from official sources.
