We can forget about the glitching, I seem to have cured that - just mentioned it because I did have some weird problems with the unit before. As far as signal strength, drops to about 30ish% around 60-100m depending on the RX model and then looses contact all together. Right now it's a useless paperweight, weird because others report 1000ft range with the antennaless RX when I can barely hit 200ft even in a farm field with no sources of interference. I'm not speed running either, just a buggy.
