F/W .93 FCC. 2 buggies with FGR4s and 1 with FGR4. Finding that I only get around a 3rd of the range in specifications. About 40-50m with FGR4s and about 110m with FGR4, supposed to be 200+ and 300+ respectively. I can only assume that its a problem with the TX as it's short with all 3 receivers. I remember when I first got it it was glitching out on one model saying the RX voltage was low even though it was in the proper range. I upgraded the FW to .93 and it continued to do the same thing! Had to remove the model, reset and reinput the model on a different model# to cure. (I later input a different buggy in that spot and it seems to be ok). Now I'm finding this range issue which bothers me immensely, 50m is near useless even for racing, and I'm really a basher so I can use at least that if not more. This is the case in any environment I have used it in, including a farm with absolutely no electrical interference and no trees blocking line of sight. (which clearly LOS matters with these because if I point the TX in the opposite direction I loose range far sooner). Flysky doesn't respond, but even if they did they respond only with gibberish because they don't understand the question. (I know because I asked them for help once already about the battery voltage thing, a pointless endeavor). Can anyone shed some light on this for me? I have mine set for 2-way, but I'm not under the impression that 1-way will improve range. What else, mmmmnn... batteries fully charged, tried with RX's out of the models receiver boxes. It's not just the alarm either (which you cannot silence unless you silence all alarms), I actually loose control. $250 pile of trash at this point, unless someone has ideas. Thanks all.
