only reason I upgraded to gtr Shocks was because the stock ultra shafts bent on the first few runs. Otherwise, the aluminum shock caps on ultra Shocks worked ok. I feel the shock package is a little more "supple" with larger volume Shocks tho... not needed but nice to have
When I got my truck (dumpster find) the shafts were pre bent. I swapped to the ti-ni shafts and they make a huge difference compared to stock.
