Foam tires increase the learning curve & entry barier for newer races with higher speeds being the only gain. A decent rubber spec tire would be the best option. The past several generations of ride tires have been solid outdoors and I would expect their new VR tires to be no different. shimizu tires have been the go to for carpet for a long time, is there really a need to chage from that?
You do know you could come race with us Saturday @ SeaTac right?
