Sorry I meant 2.5 of course. That is common on many custom designs (Krazed, my own designs, others). With slots in the right spot, you can have the chassis soft enough, despite the bulkhead mounted lower A arms. Believe me, it has worked for my h2e five design, too.
And yes, dont forget to make a thinner topdeck, too.
