Its an all round chassis that will be a great base to start with in Onroad RC. It can race, drift and rally and most importantly, it will be reliable and strong. Its not going to compete with a sakura S or Spec-R S1, but out of all of the 3 chassis, the TT02 would be the last one to break.

Case in point to the ruggedness and price point: the TT02T.
The TT02T, Tamiya p/n 58608, was just a stadium truck body and larger off-road wheels bolted onto a TT02 chassis.
Long since sold out and now discontinued.
