He's not alone in that sentiment and it amazes me that Traxass haven't had a go at all the manufacturers for using wheels that are round like theirs!
I'll not want to go into too much detail here, but I looked into this years ago and my conclusion is Traxass have operated in a morally reprehensible way - using legal technicalities to the detriment of the competition and unfortunately, the hobby as a whole. And no - that isn't just business, it's something else entirely different.
For me knowing this, I couldn't happily go out and buy a Traxass MT - it just wouldn't sit right - immaterial of how good the product is/isn't.
That being said, I wouldn't extend that sentiment to people that do buy and enjoy Traxass products, the vast majority of whom probably have no idea about all the BS that's occurred - or even if they do - refuse to allow it to interfere with their buying choices in relation to their leisure activities. That's their choice.

It's precisely the reason why Losi, Arrma, Corally, Tekno, AE, etc need to pull rank and support each other in the face of such hostile actions. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad that there's healthy competition between the other brands, but I feel that some collaboration would go a long way too.
Also, a concept that many people miss is that it's not that Traxass even 'win' the absurd cases they start - the legal costs to fight the false patent claims are so high that companies like HPI didn't even try to fight it. They just settled instead and the company was subsequently carved up into the much smaller brand we see now.
