I see from the manual that in general the transmitter should be powered by either 2s lipo or 6.6v life.
However, I am curious as to why it even ships with a 4 AA battery holder if those four will provide too little voltage (a little under six volts).
Am I missing something? I can order the official Futaba battery for this but of course that unit is hard to find right this minute so I am not able to use my new transmitter… is there a way I can get this to work with AA batteries while I get the lipo pack? Seems like what it really needs is to have six AA batteries.
thanks!
The alarm voltage is configurable. Set it to a lower voltage when using AA batteries.
