I agree, but it is a bit of a trade-off between convenience of length and 'acceptable consistency' with confidence in the build quality ... I have a few cables here now that I use, and readings can vary substantially between them ... they have served their purpose to this point, but time for a couple newer ones now that I am going all 5mm bullets
