Corally hasn’t made anything special. It’s just another truggy. No stronger or better than a Kraton, Sledge, Tekno, or any other brand truggy.
Your point? Everyone has their opinions, my opinion happens to be that you should never buy from Traxxas. Seems you somewhat agree with that opinion anyways. And they didn't just threaten just so you know, they won the lawsuit, this is why the Nero had to be taken off the market. They also won the suits against HPI Racing and Losi. The only one Im not sure of is their most recent one against Maclan Racing.
Many people regard the Traxxas lawsuits as one of the main reasons why each company was sold to Horizon. Its already an expensive and still fairly niche hobby and those companies couldn't afford the fines and negative publicity and were forced to give up and sell out.
Of course this isn't just my opinion, many others agree, and others have even boycotted Traxxas the same way I have:

I mean producing a monster truggy comparable to the Arrma Kraton EXB and the Tekno ET48 2.0 is no small feat. I think its an excellent truck. I just want the piece of mind of a stronger chassis available. A chassis bending can completely destroy the entire truck.
Bend the chassis at the bulkhead and ull probably break said bulkhead resulting in the diff coming loose and stripping the crown and input gears. Bend it in the middle and you are likely to bend the driveshafts and destroy the center diff out-drives or possibly the spur gear as is backs away from the motor and strips out. You can dent your motor can and wreck your motor, or break the tower-to-tower brace.
Basically, for a flat-chassis RC to be strong, that chassis must be the strongest part on the truck, and yet for some reason everyone seems to be producing the opposite of that. A Kraton EXB turns into an absolute tank as soon as you slap an M2C Chassis on it and fix the Diffs, pretty much proving my point.
Im sure its to save on manufacturing costs, but I would happily pay $499.99 or even a bit more for a Corally Kronos XTR with a 4mm 7075 chassis already installed from the factory, even if it isn't the same level of engineering as M2C Racing.
