The key is to just run what ya got, break it, fix it, and do it again!😎 The more you do it, the better you’ll get at it. I hate to say it, but the new Traxxas Sledge appears to have a very strong chassis setup. Only time will tell how good or bad it really is. I watched a YouTuber lawn dart it really hard several times in the same video. Afterwards it was checked with a straight edge and showed no bending.
Oh thats odd because Ive seen plenty of people bend it already. The Sledge does seem like a fairly strong truck but theres no getting around the fact that it uses 6061 aluminum and for $800 it feels like a ripoff. It foes look like an overall unique design though.
Not that it personally matters to me. No matter how good any Traxxas ever gets I will never buy one. I would rather not be a part of the hobby at all than support the company that has attempted time and time again to destroy any and all competition on the market and will probably continue doing so forever.
Supporting Traxxas is literally supporting the end of this hobby and unfortunately at this time there is no argument against that and thats just sad. Until they make amends in some way, I won't be purchasing anything from them. Haven't owned one for 15 years anyways.
But regardless the new truck is nowhere near as strong as the Maxx or X-Maxx. Those two are still in the lead for now as far as Traxxas is concerned.
