I know I'm a year late to this thread, but are you looking for a 1:8 crawler with all the bells and whistles out of the box or one with a market for bells and whistles to add later on?
Also, since a MOA is what peaked your interest, I take it you're looking for performance and not scale realism? I ask because the first thing that springs to mind when I hear the term bells and whistles is decorative parts and accessories to add realism.

If you are looking to start a realistic 1:8 build, here are some options I've seen in videos that might be worth looking into:
  • Capo Racing JK Max
  • Double E Land Rover Defender
  • Traction Hobby Gragsman Jeep
  • Yi Kong YK4082 @themountain Hmm. I was actually unaware of this one. Nice find!

I should note that while the Double E Land Rover looks pretty enticing and opportune, I'm not aware of anything coming even close to the JK Max in the bells and whistles department. (Yes, themountain. As a recent acquirer of a SIXER1 (1:6 scale 1990 Suzuki Samurai) I can assert first hand that Capo are in a league of their own. :-)

There are a couple of other 1:8 crawlers out there, but I'm not sure how well they'd check the bells and whistles box:
  • Traction Hobby Ford F150
  • MST CFX-W
  • Redcat TC8-Marksman
Also, it's probably important to keep in mind that compared to the 1:10 scale, the 1st and 3rd party upgrade and option part market for the 1:8 scale isn't nearly as vast, so if you're eying any of the above listed options, consider doing some research on parts availability before committing to a purchase.
