Hey everyone

It’s me again!! While people are fired up about vintage after a cool enduro weekend and some thoughts going around about other potential fun enduros to throw in maybe late in the year, I wanted to also put out the proposal of expanding Stadium truck at the festival to include an outlaw time line like with what we’re doing with outlaw 2wd and 4wd. This also ties in with the potential of a truck-duro and looking at what we can fit in.

Currently Stadium truck consists of trucks up to around 96-97 and the last top trucks included in that are all variants of the XXT and the RC10T3. For the outlaw portion of the class, we’re looking to include all variants of the Losi XXXT range, RC10T4 and 4.1, Kyosho RT5, Traxxas Rustler, HPI E-Firestorm. Also happy to include some of the more random brands at that time like TQ racing SX10T and Team C TC02T which were just rebrands of the same truck. The important thing to remember is that the outlaw group in the class is rear motor only and a cutoff of around 2010.

If there are people that are interested in this era of trucks being opened up, then please let me know and if there’s other trucks that fit in the window, get in touch. The idea would be to run all of these trucks together, currently the motors for stadium truck are any aarcmcc legal 17.5 brushless motor in blinky mode or a 15T closed can brushed option. As a way of balancing out the outlaws, I’m proposing that the newer trucks could run any choice of the aarcmcc 17.5 (blinky), the hobbywing fixed timing 17.5 (Blinky) and possibly the hobbywing fixed timing 21.5 motor with turbo

So the next questions are, do we run an enduro based on the same group of trucks? Is there enough interest? Do we run the same motors as the festival? I think this would be a simple enduro too, where it doesn’t matter what mix of trucks and drivers, 90 second pit stops in case a team elects to run 1 truck

Cheers

Mikey
