For those thinking about buying this radio or have one on order, take note:
The Pro is incompatible with the V1.1 Flysky assistant. Now you may say, big deal the V3 is out. Well as someone noted in the NB4 Facebook group, the V3 software requires Internet service for starters but also, the many of us are reporting issues in getting the application to actually work and/or connect to the Flysky servers. The NB4 still works (I've confirmed after seeing that post on FB) with the V1.1 even though the link to that application has been removed from Flyskys downloads page and replaced with the V3 download link. It's crazy because many of us are just buying this radio at the same time, many of us also own the NB4 and are experiencing the same issues.
I think it's in our best interest to ask Flysky to update the Pro to be able to function with the V1.1 application which just simply works until the V3 issues are worked out. This is not the end of the world, the radio works great and Flysky has usually been very responsive to fix issues.
As an update to this, the V3 assistant app nows works for me HOWEVER, it takes really long to connect with the Flysky servers. Don't know what the deal was but I assume (since I didn't get any feedback before) that there was an issue with their servers. Hopefully they can make it so no internet connection is required so use the application.
If you own an NB4 non Pro, just know that any current backups you have saved WILL NOT transfer over to the Pro via the app. This might be due to the differences, software wise, within the Pro over the non Pro but just know, you're starting over if you're coming from the older (wow, it's really not old) radio.
Finally, Hobby King is having another 20% off sale from $200+ orders. May be a good opportunity to snag a Pro.
