I think cost wise the big thing will be if they are changing the chassis. I'd say if you hit stuff, the new shock shafts being a bit thinner can bend a bit easier that CAL3 ones. Its not excessive in my opinion, but I'd say just keep that in mind. Also if they use the 0.5mm limiters inside the shocks put in a 1mm instead right away. The 0.5mm can bend at least that is what i saw in my YZ4SF2 shocks.
If you mean the camber link mounts on the rear carriers, those are the same as the YZ4SF2 and I think what comes with the aluminum carriers.

I haven't seen an issue personally. I just prefer the aluminum. We have kids running those camberlink mounts in the sportsman classes with great success as far as general durability.
