IMO it's much better to have plastic than a low grade aluminum alloy, even more if one crashes a lot. They won't look as good, but also won't be as frustrating.

Hadn't considered this before, but makes perfect sense. You could have something bent, thinking it's an issue with setup, and chase it from one end of the car to the other...👍
