Regarding the NYGP, what's the story behind the 1/12 mod / 6.5 super duper stock class motors?

2.9 per pole?

Cheating? Misunderstanding? Politics?

Sounds like CRC and Andrew Knapp were pretty chapped about the 6.5 motor rules or lack there of.
