I don't know... yes, it uses TC bodies and tires, but that doesn't make it a touring car. It's still a pan car chassis. Also there are much cheaper options than the mentioned $500 kits to get into 4WD TC racing.(e.g. the Xpress XQ2S - at only about $120). It wouldn't even fit into the TC rules, so not really an entry kit for rookie TC racers, I'm afraid. Not saying this car cannot be fun (I'm sure it could), but I cannot imagine it as TC replacement in any way, shape or form. In my opinion, it's more of a fun car than a race car (not because of quality, but because it doesn't fit the rules and would need a class of its own - and I don't think yet another class would be a good idea for our hobby).
