No. Every brand chassis is capable in competent hands. If you're looking for an edge to compensate for inexperience you won't find one.
The response to your first question took a "parts" direction for the very reason that performance isn't the single variable that differentiates or elevates any one chassis above the others.
Dive in.
There is no driving experience like 1/12th.
Suggestions:
Xray - tried and true - pricey (full confession my fav) ;
Roche - reasonable pricing - relatively new to the game, performance on par with the best (full confession my 2cnd fav);
AMX - pricey - experimental - different - fast ;
CRC - tried and true - inexpensive - fragile, yet parts easy to come by and reasonable - stalwart of the industry
