I did not have a T6.1, but the 4.0 was better on carpet than the Xray I had before and the Yokomo I had afterwards. I had always suspected the gullwing front arms to play a factor, and the way the current Schumacher and Associated trucks handle seem to confirm that. An updated gearbox, the Elite steering and suspension parts in my book would be enough to justify buying one. Its design was pretty advanced in some respects "back in the day" already.
