I don't think any of the other brands mentioned here are off brands. They are just brands with a different name from Xray.

Xpress has been around since the 90s. Making it a much older brand than Xray. Sakura is a brand under 3racing which has been around for ages and is probably the biggest rc after market brand on this side of the world. SNRC has its share of race wins and following in Asia and Australia.

No doubt Xray is one of the most well known cars and is quality built, but calling the other suggested cars off brands is quite misinformed...
