But now on the black carpet it’s a little different story.. that being said others are running pretty much same gear, same rollout(different brand motor) and there temps are getting hot to(to much for me to be ok with). I’ve seen a few cars now (not locally) that have a fan on the back of the pod. I’m sure the air movement will help forsure ... so there any negative effects besides little more rear weight. Or a better idea to help cool it down a little without breaking the bank.. I’ve heard there is a motor out there that runs a lot cooler but doesn’t really have a can to it so it dissipates heat a lot better. Any suggestions
Newer spec motors are all higher RPM than previous generations. When before you could run a 17.5 rollout of 90-100mm, now 80 is generally a good starting point.
