It depends on the engine. Most engines make good power between 240-260 degrees. Some engines can run 300 without any problems. Os engines do not like to get over 260, they will lose there pinch if they get over 260-280.. Not a huge deal as a resize fixes that.

cant believe it dude. Truly upsetting, I don’t know Rex personally, but I’ve been lurking/part of these forums for over 15 years and Rex was always around. His informational YouTube videos were spot on, and he seemed like a genuine, kind human being that cared about the rc Hobby and nitro. R.I.P rex
