90% of the tracks use modified Roar rules anyway. Roar never originally outlined rules for brushless classes to begin with let alone body approvals. The way I see USGT is like trying to saddle train a wild horse. They have let so much stuff go that it will be damn near impossible to real it back in. The USGT spec motor is probably the best idea for the class but locally and online ive heard whining of it’s slower than my certified this of I dont want to buy another motor that.....we as racers SUCK. We a decision is made for us we will bitch and complain and then if no decision is made and it’s left to interpretation (sort of like now) we complain of yester year. The top guys locally have been fast with the spec motor and whatever “Roar leagl”🤦🏽♂️ Motor they decide to run. USGT is broken down into so many levels in my area that I’m almost tempted to push for a 6ft and over class.....hell everything else has a class🤣🤣🤣🤣. I just want to have fun in the class and work on driving if the playing field is level because the rules are CLEARLY outlined and followed. If you’re wondering what area I’m referring to it’s Northern California.
