Sanded tire rule is bogus. Only way to enforce/control it is to mandate new (marked) tires be bought at the event. Which may happen at organized big races.

Otherwise at club races, sand away till your hearts content. Altho it’s really not needed with the rite sauce and warmers. Mighty Gripper Yellow is what I hear.
