i am assuming that the previous comments have been in mind with a 2S LiPo battery. you don’t want to discharge a LiPo below 3.2 Volts per cell as you might risk to damage the battery. With good balancing between cells, 6.5 V is just enough to let you know to stop immediately while 6.2 is already risky. If you want to use the Tamiya TBLE I would recommend to use a LiPo alarm set to at least 3.3 V per cell.
OK then that means the lipo cutoff for the Hobbywing 1060 ESC is too low then...right because it goes to half throttle at 6.5v and cutoff at 6.0v. Unless I'm understanding it wrong technically the car can still be driven until cutoff with the Hobbywing which is too low also. What ESC do the people use when racing in a Tamiya TCS novice class?? Do they use a lipo alarm also?? I'm alittle confused. Thanks
