Default TARP OMB 6001 Stage III kit - Traxxas based

Figured it was a good time to post up the TARP Traxxas based rig I built up over the last months, and now that the weather is good in Mi, I am nearly ready to start getting some test runs on. Still waiting on a RD VTS Slipper and the Backyard Alpha body to get here. VTS is on B.O. at Amain, and the Vega Body from The Backyard should be on the machines getting pulled anytime as I understand it. Until then I have a few ideas to work out.

This one was built as a Street Eliminator. Still may grab some adjustable rear arms (had a set of CWs, but sold them), but going to try some old school mods before I drop 70.00 on a set of Pembertons.

Current Build Spec with the exception of what I just mentioned doing above.

TARP O.M.B. Stage III Kit built as a Mid-Motor. The TARP Traxxas-based rig can be built as a Rear or Mid-Motor platform. If I don't like the mid motor, I can swap it to a Rear Motor platform (need different DRC Motor plate for rear motor DRC Tranny)
Stage III includes the full Chassis (Stage I) the F and R Shock towers and rear shock tower mounts and steering pieces (Stage II,) and the Wheelie Bar (Stage III).
Drag Race Concepts Mid-Motor Transmission with Backyard RC Ceramic Bearings, DRC Topshaft for Team Associated Slippers Hot Racing Aluminium Idler Gear and DRC idler shaft, HR Diff Cases with 500k Kracken Diff Fluid.
Revolution Designs VTS Dual Pad Slipper Clutch (on backorder with Amain)
MIP XD Bandit Drives Shafts
Fast Eddy Ceramic Bearings in all Carriers and Steering Bellcrank
STRC Hinge pins at all points
Traxxas Rear Bandit Arms Reversed
Traxxas Rear Carriers in Green
Lundsford Titanium Bandit Punisher Turnbuckles at all points with RC4WD Straight and 2 angled shock ends
Pro-Line F11 Beadlock wheels
Pro-Line Hoosier Rear Slicks
Crawler Innovation Drag Foams
Corrupted Carbon 12 hole CF Beadlock Rings
DRC Rear Body Mount Extender
110mm Chinese Shocks in Green with 100wt TLR Shock Oil and Limiters inside and out.
Traxxas Bellcrank in Green
DRC Zero Degree Front Bulkhead and Zero Degree Front CF Bumper
RPM Front Arms
Traxxas Steering Blocks in Green
Pro-Line Front Camber Blocks
Lundsford Titanium Front Axles
Pro-Line Pamona Front Wheels with Pro-Line Hoosier Front Tires and stock foams
100mm Chinese Shocks with 70wt TLR Shock Oil and limiters inside and out.
3mm Green Aluminum Flanged Nuts
175rc 4mm Green Aluminum Wheel nuts.
CRC, MIP 5mm shims
(Only thing I may do is replace all the steel bolts with Titanium bolts to drop weight overall, and install green aluminum bolts into the Beadlocks to reduce rotational mass)

Soul of this gal will be a Tekin RX8 ESC with the newest Drag Spec Firmware pushing a Trinity DragMaster 3.5t Holeshot. Hotwire 2.0.
Her dancin' shoes are run by a Reefs RC 299LP.

Body as I mentioned above will be The Backyard Alpha, which is a early 70s Chevy Vega, just waiting for it to show up once it is pulled. Not sure on Colors but have some ideas stewing.
Until this comes in, I ordered a Pro-Line '56 F100 body to run. I will be making this body into a Themed body that will eventually go on my 'What-N-Tarnation' build.

Radio will be my Nomodio React, which I am using strictly on my No Prep rigs.

Some Build Porn to drool over and some near-final shots.

I ordered a TA/DR10 vented slipper clutch and a set of pads to get in some testing runs in to adjust setup and work it out.

Still need to do the new firmware update on the RX8. Have it on the puter, just not put it on the ESC yet.
